MEET EMILY
Hi! I’m Emily—the founder, owner, and principal designer at Emily Kay Interiors. As someone who’s been called an “old soul” for as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to a classically vintage style. I love interiors that blend the old with the new—spaces that feel rooted in today while maintaining an aesthetic that stands the test of time.
After three years in the commercial furniture world—and always knowing I’d eventually start something of my own—I took the leap, quit my job, and decided it's never too early to live your dream. While I’m passionate about interior design as a whole, residential design holds a special place in my heart. It gives me the opportunity to form meaningful relationships with my clients and create homes that reflect who they are. I’ve always loved hearing people’s stories and understanding their unique style—and interior design allows me to bring those two things together in a really beautiful and unique way.
When I'm not designing, you can find me hanging out with my fiancé, William, watching trashy reality TV, reading multiple thriller novels at a time, throwing pottery at my local ceramics studio, or scouring an antique store for that one-of-a-kind, can't-live-without find.
